AIConnector


Introduction to AIConnector

AIConnector is a dedicated application designed to connect to AIONCLOUD's SRA and SIA service.

  • When you use AIConnector, your internet traffic is routed through AIONCLOUD SIA(Secure Internet Access).
  • AIONCLOUD SIA blocks access to harmful and non-work-related websites via URL category filtering, and it analyzes web traffic to defend against malware.
  • All traffic sent to AIONCLOUD SIA is protected by secure encryption algorithms.


Download and Installation


Download

To download AIConnector, you must be a member of AIONCLOUD and have the workspace information and user credentials provided during registration.


  1. Open a web browser, go to AIONCLOUD user console, enter your issued workspace information, and click the continue button.

2. Enter your username and password, then click the login button.

3. Select your operating system and click the download button.

Installation and Execution

[Windows]

1. Run the downloaded installation file.

2. Follow the instructions provided by the installation wizard.

3. Check the box below and click finish, or double-click the 'AIConnector shortcut' icon on the desktop to run AIConnector.

[macOS]

1. Run the downloaded installation file.

2. In the installation screen, drag AIConnector.app to the Applications folder.

3. Search for "aiconnector.app" in Spotlight and click it, or click the "AIConnector" icon in Launchpad to run it.

How to Use AIConnector


Login

  1. Click the central login button.

2. A login page will appear in a new browser tab. Enter your workspace information and click the submit button.

※ The entered workspace information is saved, so you only need to enter user credentials for future logins. If the workspace information changes, you can modify it by clicking "Change Your Workspace".

3. Enter your user credentials and click the "Sign-In" button.

4. The login result page will appear.

Security

Users can securely exchange data through AIConnector's secure connection. You can easily enable or disable the secure connection by clicking the button in the security menu.

[Enabling Secure Connection]

Click the button in the middle. The button will change from OFF to ON, starting the secure connection.

[Disabling Secure Connection]

Click the button in the middle. The button will change from ON to OFF, disabling the secure connection.

Statistics

View statistics related to secure connections.


[Accessing the Statistics Menu]

Click the statistics icon to navigate to the statistics menu.

[Statistics Items]

You can view various statistics on the statistics screen. Each item provides the following information:

  • Sent Data: Amount of data sent through the secure connection.
  • Received Data: Amount of data received through the secure connection.
  • Local IP: IP information assigned through the secure connection.
  • Server Address: Address information of the server performing the secure connection.
  • Start Time: The time when the secure connection started.


Settings

Modify various settings for AIConnector.


[Accessing the Settings Menu]

Click the settings icon to navigate to the settings menu.

[Language]

Change the language displayed on the screen. Click the combo box and select the desired language from the list.Slide26.PNG

※This setting only applies to the Windows version of AIConnector. For macOS, the language changes automatically according to the OS settings.


[User]

Click the "Modify Information" button to display the AIONCLOUD user console screen in the web browser.

[Update]

1. If AIConnector is not the latest version, click the update button to proceed with the version update. The program will restart after the update is complete.

2. If it is the latest version, a message indicating the latest version will appear when you click the update button.

[Options]

Enable or disable various options using toggle buttons. Options include automatic secure tunnel connection on login, automatic execution on system start, and automatic update checks.


- Automatic Secure Tunnel Connection on Login

Automatically start a secure connection upon successful login without needing to click the secure connection button.

1. Click the "Automatic Secure Tunnel Connection on Login" toggle button to enable it.

2. From the next login, the secure connection will be automatically activated.



- Automatic Execution on System Start

Automatically run AIConnector when the computer starts.

1. Click the "Automatic Execution on System Start" toggle button to enable it.

2. AIConnector will automatically start from the next computer boot.


- Automatic Update Check

1. Click the "Automatic Update Check" toggle button to enable it.

2. From the next program execution, a screen will appear if the program is not the latest version, asking if you want to update. Click the "Update" button to proceed with the update, or click the "Confirm" button to skip the update.

Information

Check the version and copyright information of the AIConnector program.

Click the information icon to view information about the AIConnector program. Click confirm to close the window.

AIConnector Operation Control


Administrators can control the operation of AIConnector for users registered in the workspace. AIConnector operation control includes automatic upgrade and switch lock. Administrators can notify and prompt users for updates through AIConnector automatic upgrades. Additionally, the AIConnector switch lock ensures that AIConnector is always used, automatically starting and logging in at OS startup, maintaining secure connections, and preventing users from tampering with these settings.

[AIConnector Automatic Upgrade]

Notify and prompt users for upgrades when a version upgrade occurs. The automatic update check option for AIConnector is forcibly enabled, and users cannot change this option.

[AIConnector Switch Lock]

Ensure that AIConnector is always used by automatically running and logging in at OS startup, and preventing the termination of secure connections.

1. The automatic secure tunnel connection on login and automatic execution on system start options are forcibly enabled. Users cannot change these options.

2. Logout and program termination are disabled. Users cannot terminate the program.


3. The secure connection is forcibly enabled and cannot be disabled. Attempting to disable the secure connection will display the administrator's email information.
